Sponge samplers are designed to allow thorough scrubbing of surfaces, effectively disrupting and lifting biofilms to maximize microorganism collection. Made with medical-grade polyurethane foam tips, these samplers resist tearing and fraying, making them ideal for sampling rough or uneven surfaces. Each sampler comes pre-moistened with a range of neutralizing broths, which help neutralize residual sanitizers on the surface while preserving the viability of collected microorganisms for up to 72 hours, depending on the broth used.
